Chinese-American artist Jason Lu is exhibiting his new installation project Relationship-Family at the Contemporary Hall, National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta until 17 April.

The project consists of 20 portraits of two families (the artistís and his wifeís), which are painted on more than a hundred birchwood panels. The artist mixes the panels to physically portray interaction between the family members. In this way the connection inside the families is represented ñ from the extremes of total separation to being entwined in an intimate relationship.
